New World asks "not what
your country could do for you", but
"what could it do to you?"
America is now under martial law. The
United States is a nation ruled by fear.
Government agents haul people out of their
homes and into jail, searching for more
superpowered people-these deltas-and force
them to either join the government forces or
rot in jail.
The last chance for justice lies in the
hands of a few, proud rebels collectively
known as the Defiance. These stalwart
heroes live on the run from a government
prepared to hunt them to the ends of the
earth, yet they steadfastly refuse to give up
the desperate battle for freedom.
The American dream is dead. There's a
brave new world out there and it's up to you
to save it!

One of those fortunate moments in my
life, I was at the right place at the
right time. Matt (the person
behind BNW) and I assisted each other
in a walk to the hotel at GenCon.
From there... I was one of the
playtesters for BNW, wrote the opening
1999 and 2000 summer con adventures,
and a moment to tell my grandchildren
played the role of Patriot at his
execution at GenCon 1999. Will
he be back...?
