the online casino industry may not be able to get the United State government
to commit to regulating the industry, but at least there are those individuals
in the industry themselves who have taken up the cause of making sure that
online casinos are safe and trustworthy for all of the thousands of players out
there playing, whether the government says its off limits or not.
eCOGRA is the most prominent group of industry insiders to be recognizing the
importance of online casinos self regulating. And continuing that good work they
have just announced the latest on their list of online casinos to be granted
with their seal of approval, twelve online casinos to be exact, are not
officially eCOGRA approved. This latest addition bring the total number of
online casinos that eCOGRA has given its stamp of approval to up to eighty-five.
This particularly good news for all of the online casino players out there that
could use a better way to know they are playing on a trustworthy online casino.
Seven of the twelve sites that were just approved were from the Australian
Corporation named Tusk Investment, which is also in preparation for its
acquisition by the other Australian company named Global Approach Limited who is
already a very successful online casino management company. the other five are
with the Vegas Partner Lounge Group and are excited to be recognized by players
as trustworthy and worthwhile, “Leading online casino and poker room brands
recognize that players care about the `Play It Safe` seal, and that seal-bearing
casinos attract more players and create additional revenue opportunities. We
applaud these operators for their efforts and encourage others to help us reach
our 100 seals goal by committing to the eCOGRA principals of fair gaming,
responsible conduct and player protection.”
