Nintendo makes a bold move in order to become the leader in the video gaming
market once again. Their new Wii console and controller system is making the
jump into more integrated and interactive technology that will be the difference
between the video gaming world being able to bring in new players or atrophying
in the stale young male market.
Let's face it video gaming can be the personification of boring if your now
playing at the time or the essence of frustration if you don't now the
exorbitant amount of controller combinations it takes to have you're game
character complete a relatively simply movement. And speaking of atrophy it is a
wonder that young gamers haven't already evolved into legless slugs due to their
lack of activity, both physically and mentally when it come to game purely
focused of killing whatever comes in in your path...wow...that sounds like a
blast. Nintendo's new console is focused on addressing all of those most
prevalent complaints of the video gaming industry, by utilizing a motion sensor
controller that can act as everything from a sword, numchucks, a gun, a golf
club, a tennis racket, a surgeon's scalpel, and much more.
Giving players more non-blood and guts games and a more active and social
playing format the Wii system will entice even the most off-put video gamer. Not
to mention that the console is rumored to be price in such a way to undercut its
competition in the not-so-new-and-improved versions of the X-Box and
Playstation3. This could be a turning point in the video gaming industry to
revive the demand of a type of product that was becoming a bit to niche for its
own good. New and old video gamers alike are falling for the innovative design
of the new inclusive Wii system.
