Online Casino Wins Billionaire's Ukulele

O.K. I have to be honest, when I first saw a news article about this, I could have sworn it was a type-o. "Warren Buffet auctions signed ukulele", I thought, wait, don't you mean Jimmy Buffet auctions signed ukulele? Nope, I was wrong. Warren Buffet, the second richest man in the world, apparently loves to play the ukulele when he's not making genius investments on the stock market.

And naturally when the billionaire decided to auction off his John Hancock covered instrument to raise money for Omaha's Children Hospital, none other that the e-bay loving online casino, GoldenPalace.com, was the lucky high bid winner. the online casino won the ukulele for $11,211.11 after beating the other highest bid by one hundred dollars with only seven seconds to spare in the online auction.

the online casino is famous for winning auction items verging on the absurd, or obtaining pop culture relics that are border-line disgusting, but they had not until now had a piece of someone as reputable as Warren Buffet. Buffet's other charity focused auctions have brought in quite a bit of dough over the years. He most successful is by far the personal lunch he auction in order to support organizations focused of helping the homeless and hungry. His last lunch went for an amazing, $351,100. Talk about a power lunch.
