Sony's Online Gaming Solution

Microsoft's online gaming platform, the Xbox Live, has seemed to corner the market on online gaming, and many have been rumoring whether or not Sony will even introduce a platform enable for live online gaming in order to compete against the giant shadow that the Xbox has cast over the gaming industry.

Well Sony has just revealed that all of the rumors are false and that they will be coming out with online gaming software in order to compete against Microsoft, and it will come in the form of Next Generation's PlayStationHUB which will be compatible with the PlayStation3.

Not only will the new PlayStationHUB be designed to compete with the Xbox Live but it will curiously have many similarities to the Microsoft creation. Among the spooky likenesses will be pretty much the same "independent development platform" which is a technique used on certain games, also it will include chat, downloadable demos, and online play that will also all be compatible with the use of PSP's and PS3 .

the announcement of this new online gaming platform has still yet to be announced by Sony, but their popular PS3 is said to be set for launch this upcoming September 16th in Japan, and then September 21st for North America, but is still not wholly committed to these dates.
