Online Casino Wraps
Up Settlement
Party Gaming and Empire online have been so
sensationally catty toward one another that the news
of their impending out of court settlement is
certainly a source for great curiosity. As many of you
know the feud began when Party Gaming decide to to
away with they utilization of affiliates in order to
bring in traffic to their online casino, and instead
has opted to use a single platform format.
When PartyGaming did so, Empire Online, was leave
out in the cold and was not compensated for the total
length of time that the online casino had committed to
a business relationship with them, thereby inciting
EmpireOnline to sue for "substantial damages." Just
when a nasty court battle seemed inevitable the two
decide to settle out of court. There had been attempts
to settle before but were not met with much
enthusiasm.
Once it was decided the two would pursue an out of
court settlement, it appeared that Empire Online had
changed some of it previous tone toward the online
casino and were more happy to settle with out the
added drama. According to the representative of both
of the online casino companies, they are nearing a
settlement. Off the record however, the rumored
settlement amount is going to be $300 million less
than the amount that Empire Online had originally
requested from the online casino. Empire now needs to
focus on the waning condition of its stock value and
earnings index to be able to support and let flourish
its new online casino portals Club Dice Casino and
Noble Poker.
