Station to Build New North Las Vegas Casino
There is about to be another addition to the Las
Vegas Casino family as Station Casinos, Inc. is
teaming up with The Greenspun Corporation to build a
hotel casino by the name of Aliante Station, in
none other than a master planned community on the
north side of Las Vegas by the name of Aliante. The
hotel/casino while be managed by Station Casinos, Inc.
and nestled upon more 40 acres of gaming entitled land
between I-215 and the community's Aliante Parkway. The
two companies will share joint and equal ownership of
the project including the Las Vegas casino, but
Station will be claiming an additional fees for their
management services.
The groups both feels that the local market and
population of Las Vegas is in need of entertainment
and amenities that cater to their specific needs, as
appose to the tourist industry. Greenspun is in
particular, excited to embark on this venture to
better the quality of life for the north Las Vegas
Residents, "We have a great relationship with Station
Casinos as a result of the success of Green Valley
Ranch Resort and we are confident that they will
develop and operate a high-quality project for our
residents and the surrounding North Las Vegas
community. "
Aliante is also the collaboration of the American
Nevada Corporation and Del Webb Communities in order
to bring the community a golf course,a Las Vegas
casino, a city parks and even an extensive 24-mile
trail system. "North Las Vegas is one of the
fastest growing cities in the country and Aliante is
the premiere location in North Las Vegas for a hotel
and casino. We believe that market is ready for our
product." says the President of Station Casinos,
Lorenzo Fertitta. The analyst project that the
population of Las Vegas will continue to grow and be
Double what it is now in only eight years.
