Imperial Palace Preps for an Image Facelift
the famous Las Vegas casino, Imperial Palace, may be feeling the slam of a
wrecking ball sometime in the future. the entertainment chairman of Harrah, Gary
Loveman, says the company is awaiting to give the neglected casino a much needed
makeover. Some of their other properties such as the Rio and Ceasars Palace are
right on target as far as being competitive in the future and ever changing
markets. But some of their other Las Vegas casinos such as the Imperial Palace
will likely need a complete tear-down and rebuild over-haul.
Harrah's cannot deny the incredible power that the Asian gambler now has in
Las Vegas casinos. People from Japan, Korea, China, and Indonesia are all
flocking to the city of sin in growing numbers and quickly becoming some of Las
Vegas Casinos most treasured high-rollers. Harrah's also cannot deny the success
of Wynn Las Vegas in just its first quarter by bringing in $73.2 million in
profits, due to what many speculate is the Las Vegas casino's tailored catering
to the Asian Market. What better Las Vegas casino to redesign in an appealing
way for the Asian demographic then the Imperial Palace.
Much will have to be done about the Imperial's out-dated take on Eastern
culture, but with more sleek oriental design holding a more strong position in
global architecture as a whole, it should not be hard for Harrah's to create
what could possible be the most posh casino in Las Vegas. the theme is not the
only thing Imperial Palace has working in its favor, it is also sitting on some
of the most prime real estate on the Las Vegas strip.
