The Forces of Calvin Goblin-King: A Moria Goblin Army
Army
Calvin Goblin-King, while still a wimp by Orcish standards, is
one of the biggest and meanest goblins ever to live in the
Mines of Moria. Through threats, intimidation and bribery, he
has managed to put together a force of goblins who call him
their king (at least to his face). He has brought part of his
band out of Moria to gain booty, glory and infamy!

Captain Farornir is known by his enemies for his
elusiveness, striking at will and then vanishing into the
mist. His enemies never know whether he is 'Far or Near'
and must always be on their guard. He commands a well
balanced force of rawboned Ranger archers, doughty Dwarven
heavy infantry, sturdy spearmen, and bellicose bodyguard.
While Farornir's feats in combat may be legendary, his banquet
hall orations are to be avoided at all costs, as he fancies
himself to be as witty with words as he is wily with weapons
and skillful with strategy. He aspires to command the
Royal Guard and his abilities have led him to his position,
but his lack of diplomacy with his superiors has slowed his
promotions. Farornir is a man of integrity who is fair
with his men and holds their respect and fierce in battle,
driving away any and all that stand between him and his
objective. His 'superiors' are uncomfortable around him,
jealous of his popularity with the rankers and fearing his
ambition, and assign him independent commands to keep him away
from court. He welcomes the assignments, as it allows
him freedom to make his own decisions and establish his
reputation as a force to be reckoned with.

Captain Smaithx a product
of an unholy union spawned an unknown time ago in an
unthinkable way. Is known for his bizarre and chaotic
tactics. He rose to his position though a unique combination
of cruelty and alcohol tolerance. It is not unknown for
Smaithx to drink his rival under the table and then smash them
with the same table. His favorite tactic is the swarm, his
favorite saying is "Kill them all and let the Nazgul sort it
out" His favorite drink anything with alcohol.
After action report:
Captain Smaithx leading his forces in a battle that showcased
tactics of maneuver and combined arms as subtle as driving in
a carpet tack with a slug hammer. Three of his orc fell in
battle but a post action investigation showed that they were
just drunk. The news of this stunning and booty filled victory
has caused Captain Smaithx company to swell by 50 - 70 points
of recruits.

"Ahem...
Men of Middle Earth. We go to war against ancient forces of
darkness. It is a time of sinister periphery. The disasters
about to unfold upon our lands will be the worse than any in
our histories. Even more ominous than the lore of our
allies. They are coming… Men. We are not waiting. We are
going to meet these bastards and shove them back in the wholes
they came from. Let our words be true, our hearts hold fast,
and swords lop off their heads."
-- Captain Louke Fargrounding
